THIHA SOUL ââ¬Å"How is the concept of Art influenced by the culture you are in?â⬠Thiha Soul -13597 FAN 5 C Lau Sheow Tong History of Arts and Ideas I D-FA203 THIHA SOUL THIHA SOUL No one can deny that art is always changing and affecting the all society of entire world and art has acted as a dramatic reflection of the social and political events taking place in regions in recent decades. So, what is art? , Art is a variety of human activities and the products of these activities; this article focuses primarily on the visual arts, including the creation of images or objects in fields such as painting, sculpture, print, photography and other visual things. Some said that there really is no such things as Art .There areâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Myanmar which has rich in traditional culture and traditional art, but there is a small dynamic space for artists. On the other hand, advantages of the technology driven the art society, hobbyists had little exposure in traditional art society and they were tend to lean on modernism forms of art, architecture, literature, religious faith, social organization and daily life in late 19th century. To become a artist, the y do not think there is no need of art education and they are self taught artists. Myanmar traditional art was rich in a wealth of information on Buddha, religion which is similar to European Renaissance of the 14thââ¬â17th centuries. The art and culture of Myanmar emphasize the allencompassing relationship between everyday life and the Buddhist religion. As Ii was born in late 80s and under military government, when i was kid, there was no exposure of art and media awareness to me. Though my opinion, on art was mostly form on renaissance art by Da Vinci, Michelangelo. There was little awareness of modernism in art .But by the time, I was early teenager, Post-Impressionist artist such as Paul Gauguin, Vincent Van Gogh, Picasso were great inspiration for me to be interested in modernism art. Which will lead me towards to photography eventually? Apart from paints and photography, there was totally no exposure of digital media and visual arts until late 90s in Myanmar.
